A Texas native born, raised, educated, and currently residing in my Central Texas hometown. My husband and I have three children. I have been blessed to be their stay-at-home mom for the past ten years. Prior to being a stay-at-home mom, I was a public high school and middle school art teacher.

My Story

My journey has been shaped by deep roots in Texas and a lifelong connection to creativity. Teaching art to middle and high school students ignited my passion for helping others express themselves through creative work. Now, as a mom and artist, I channel that same enthusiasm into Unnecessary Charm, creating pieces that bring joy and whimsy to everyday life.

Each piece I create reflects my background as an educator and my love for thoughtful design. I blend traditional techniques with modern inspiration, choosing materials that feel right for every creation. My work celebrates the beauty in simple moments and the charm found in life's little details. I've always believed that art is everything, and everything is art.
